What Do You Want To Know About Emotional Intelligence?
Dana Ackley, Ph.D., EQ Leader, Inc.
Our recent member survey indicates high and ongoing interest in learning more about Emotional Intelligence (EQ).
Dana C. Ackley, Ph.D. spoke to us in March, 2010, providing an overview of the concept, the business case, a measurement tool and an application of a comprehensive EQ development program used with the senior leadership of a Baldrige Award winning healthcare system.
Dr. Ackley returns for our May meeting to discuss EQ further. To ensure that the program meets our members’ needs, rather than present a program with pre-determined content, he will respond to your questions about EQ. What do you want to know? Examples might include:
- What information would help you determine whether and how to bring EQ to leaders in your organization?
- What about the role of EQ in selection?
- How might EQ be used in team building?
As homework, Dr. Ackley requests that prior to our meeting, you develop one question that you would like to him to respond to. We will take a few minutes at the beginning to organize and distill the questions.
